Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) | Salary: $21.01–$34.53/hr
Requirements to apply
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA preferred; willing to obtain)
• Minimum 2 years of general operating room experience
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to be within 30 minutes of Daytona Beach for main OR coverage
Provide exceptional surgical support in a fast-paced OR environment
Day shift, Monday–Friday, with start times typically 6:30–6:45am and end times depending on case schedule (average out by 3:30pm, later on extended days). Weekend and night shifts are not required. Rotational “late staff” coverage after 3:30pm may apply.
Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Certified Surgical Technologists to assist in a variety of surgical procedures across newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Under the supervision of an RN and in collaboration with the circulating nurse, the CST will maintain aseptic technique, anticipate physician needs, manage surgical equipment and supplies, and provide high-quality patient care across multiple specialties including General Surgery, GYN, GI, Retinal, Podiatry, Urology, Orthopedic, Plastic, and Dental Restoration. Experience in trauma and main OR procedures is highly desirable.
