Requirements to Apply

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) to join our high-performing surgical services team in Spokane, WA. The CVOR RN provides specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This position plays a pivotal role in patient safety, clinical precision, and surgical excellence. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll assist surgeons and anesthesia providers throughout all phases of surgery—from preparation and monitoring to post-procedure recovery—ensuring the highest standards of care and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Monitor patient status and communicate promptly with the surgical team
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and infection control policies
  • Assist surgeons and support staff to ensure seamless workflow during operations
  • Provide patient and family education regarding perioperative care and recovery
  • Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives
