Mental Health Counselor (Master’s) – Providence Youth Behavioral Residential Center, Anchorage, AK
We are hiring for Mental Health Counselor positions at Providence Youth Behavioral Residential Center in Anchorage, AK.
Available Schedules:
Full time, 1.0 FTE, Evening shift, 40 hours per week
Per diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable shift, hours per week as needed
Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of clinical programming for the Crisis Recovery Center
Provide direct client care including assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy
Deliver client, family, peer, and community education
Coordinate services with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and ARNPs
Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related health field
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Counselor License (LPC), Psychological Associate License (LPA), or Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW) upon hire
Two years of clinical experience
