SUMMARY

A large trauma hospital in Spokane, WA is searching for a permanent full-time Registered Nurse for their Operating Room. The registered nurse will work in the main OR and work on a variety of cases including  Neuro, Ortho, General/GU/GYN/Robotic, and Plastic/Pediatric/ENT surgery. This is a fast-paced unit made up of caring individuals who put the patient’s safety and concerns before themselves. This is very much a team-like atmosphere and it’s an excellent opporntity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured patient
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians
• Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
• Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year of acute care RN experience
• Previous surgical services experience preferred 
• Nursing degree/diploma required. Must be willing to obtain a BSN within 3years of hire
  • A RN with 20 years of RN experience will be exempt from the BSN requirement

• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire.
