A healthcare facility in Tarzana, CA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager to lead its Mother Baby Unit. This role is responsible for the clinical and operational management of postpartum and newborn care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, lead nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support excellence in maternal-newborn health outcomes and patient experience.
Provide leadership and supervision for nursing and support staff in the Mother Baby Unit.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and operational workflows.
Support staff education, development, and performance evaluation.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, clinical standards, and hospital policies.
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Lead and support initiatives to improve quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
Participate in budget planning, policy development, and strategic initiatives.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field.
