Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

SUMMARY

A Level II Trauma Center and Magnet hospital in Missoula, MT is searching for a permanent full-time Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit This is a fast-paced unit made up of caring individuals who put the patient’s safety and concerns before themselves. This is very much a team-like atmosphere and it’s an excellent opportunity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians
• Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
• Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems

 REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year of ICU nursing experience
• Nursing degree/diploma required. Must be willing to obtain a BSN within 3years of hire
  • A RN with 20 years of RN experience will be exempt from the BSN requirement

• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• PALS within 6 months of hire

Pay Scale: $31.60 - 46.00/hr
