Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Advanced study in a clinical specialization area
• Coursework in adult education principles
• Training in Performance Improvement and research methodology
• California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire)
• 3 years of acute hospital experience in a clinical specialty area
• 1 year of experience in adult education and patient/family education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing, or current enrollment in a Master’s Degree program
• Nursing specialty certification within 2 years of hire
