Requirements to Apply

• Active Florida Clinical Laboratory License in all 5 specialty areas:
  • Blood Bank
  • Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Microbiology
  • Serology/Immunology
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred (not required)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment
• Play a critical role in patient care.

Full-time Medical Technologist position specializing in blood bank operations within a hospital laboratory setting. This role ensures the safe and accurate processing of blood products for transfusion, supporting physicians and care teams in delivering timely, high-quality patient care.

Job Overview
As a Medical Technologist – Blood Bank, you will perform advanced testing procedures including crossmatching, antibody identification, and quality control to maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will also maintain, troubleshoot, and operate laboratory equipment while working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely results.
