LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - All Hospital Units
Shift Available: 12h nights / 12h days

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in focused assessment/reassessments of patient(s) by observing, collecting, recording and reporting objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner. Reports the condition and/or change in condition of the patient(s) as well as signs and symptoms that deviate from normal health status.
  • Assists in implementing the nursing plan of care within the concepts of the LPN curriculum with consideration for safety in practice; according to established prioritization of needs; documenting and communicating nursing interventions and responses of patient(s) to care.
  • Assists in evaluating patient(s) responses; document and communicate evaluation data to appropriate health care team members; contributes to the modification of the nursing plan of care on the based on ongoing evaluation of the patient(s). 
  • Collaborates with team members by sharing relevant information, demonstrating initiative, and supporting team decisions and the work life of the department.
  • Provides care consistent with the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as well as the assigned clinical area’s Standards of Care and Professional Performance.
  • Assists in the supervision of unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned within scope of practice after demonstrating required competencies or completing requisite training.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • LPN Degree from an Accredited Institution.
  • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • New Grads are welcomed. 
  • Current Oklahoma Board of Nursing LPN License or a current multi-state compact LPN License (eNLC)
