Pediatrician
Salary Range: $250,000 – $280,000 annually ($120.19 – $134.62/hr equivalent)


Requirements to Apply

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Active California medical license
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Current DEA certificate
  • Current BLS certification
  • Completion of Pediatric residency training (minimum 3 years)
  • Minimum two (2) years of public health experience
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal public health regulations
  • Proficiency in EHR systems
Preferred
  • Experience serving underserved or uninsured populations
  • Experience supervising mid-level providers
  • Bilingual abilities

Pediatrician Job in Southern California – Community Health – Weekday Schedule – Mission-Driven Practice



Job Overview
This full-time Pediatrician opportunity provides comprehensive medical services to children and families within a community health setting serving underserved populations across multiple Southern California counties.

Responsibilities include preventive care, immunizations, adolescent health, family planning services, STD screenings, vision and hearing exams, nutrition counseling, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. The physician orders and interprets diagnostic testing, prescribes medications, performs procedures within scope, and documents encounters in the electronic health record.

The provider may supervise mid-level clinicians, participate in quality improvement initiatives, review family planning services in compliance with regulations, and contribute to staff meetings and training efforts. Daily productivity expectations include seeing up to 25 patients per day in alignment with clinic goals.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
