Starting Salary: $110,000

Requirements to apply:

  • RN License, BSN preferred
  • Current Maine nursing license
  • At least 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department settings, with proven leadership skills and a strong foundation for continued growth in leadership roles.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Medical/Surgical certification preferred

Job Overview: 
As the Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership for both the Emergency Department and Med/Surg unit (average census: 3). With an annual ED volume of approximately 8,200 visits, the Emergency Department represents a key area of opportunity for growth and enhanced patient care delivery. You will oversee a team of 45 direct reports and play a vital role in bringing consistency, engagement, and stability to a department that has been without dedicated leadership for an extended period.

Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, you will collaborate closely to ensure that all nursing services are delivered in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and in alignment with best practices in patient care.
