Cytotechnologist
Salary: $27.31 to $42.56 per hour
Requirements to Apply
• Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology from an accredited institution or equivalent as defined by Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments standards
• Florida Technologist License in Cytology
• Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
• Minimum five years of cytotechnology experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and microscopic evaluation skills with high attention to detail

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist to perform detailed microscopic evaluation of cellular specimens to assist in the early detection and diagnosis of disease. This role involves preparing and analyzing cytology specimens using advanced laboratory techniques including liquid-based cytology, ThinPrep processing, and cell block preparation. The Cytotechnologist will examine slides for abnormal or diseased cells, document findings, assist with rapid onsite evaluation during procedures such as EBUS and fine needle aspirations, and collaborate with pathologists to support accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory quality, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.
