General Gastroenterologist Job in Brighton, MA – Academic Affiliation – Community-Based GI Practice – Procedural & Consultative Care


Job Overview
This full-time role offers a unique blend of community-based gastroenterology practice supported by the resources of a major academic medical center. Clinical responsibilities are primarily based in Brighton and include both outpatient and inpatient consultative GI care.

The physician will perform routine procedures including EGD and colonoscopy while managing a broad range of GI conditions such as GERD, liver disease, IBS, IBD, and GI bleeding. Participation in a rotating inpatient call schedule is expected. Collaboration with a tertiary GI team ensures seamless referral pathways for advanced cases. Physicians work alongside advanced practice providers, GI nurses, anesthesiology, and a multidisciplinary care team.
Optional academic involvement may include teaching medical students and residents, participating in quality initiatives, or engaging in scholarly or research collaboration.
