Histotechnologist / Histotechnician (2nd shift)
Salary: $31.80–$47.75/hr + shift differentials
Requirements to apply:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- ASCP certification as Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) preferred (or ability to obtain within 120 days)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant histology experience
- Experience with tissue processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
- Knowledge of histo- and immunocytochemistry procedures
- Strong attention to detail, quality control, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced laboratory environment

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Histotechnologist or Histotechnician to support tissue preparation and diagnostic workflows within an anatomic pathology laboratory. This role focuses on preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examination, performing specialized histology and immunocytochemistry testing, and supporting molecular testing processes.
Responsibilities include embedding, cutting, staining, and processing specimens, as well as maintaining quality control standards and troubleshooting laboratory processes. The role also involves supporting pathologists with specimen adequacy assessments and assisting with high-volume and stat requests in a fast-paced setting.
