Requirements to Apply
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwife or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Indiana RN license
- Current CNM or WHNP certification in the state of Indiana
- Prescriptive authority and DEA certification
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNM or WHNP
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, patient-centered environment

Job Overview
This Certified Nurse Midwife / Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner role provides comprehensive reproductive, obstetric, and gynecologic care to women across the continuum of care. Working closely with physicians and clinical staff, this provider supports prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care while emphasizing education, prevention, and patient empowerment.
The position reports to the Site Medical Director and offers a 4–5 day work week, depending on clinic needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a midwife or WHNP seeking a collaborative environment with strong clinical support, meaningful patient relationships, and involvement in quality and program development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide reproductive, obstetric, and gynecologic care to female patients
- Participate in the initial examination, diagnosis, and ongoing care of obstetric patients
- Deliver babies in a hospital setting as part of an obstetric rotation
- Educate patients on prenatal and postnatal health practices
- Conduct group education classes for patients and families related to pregnancy, childbirth, and family orientation
- Assist in developing and maintaining clinical protocols and practice guidelines
- Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and performance improvement activities
- Support community education efforts and represent provider staff as requested
- Teach students and participate in staff education and training as assigned
- Maintain required continuing education and certification requirements
- Contribute to Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) quality initiatives
