M-F; 2:30pm-11pm
Pay Range: $47.50–$68.42/hr

Requirements to apply

• Active RN license in Connecticut or compact state
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
• Charge nurse or preceptor experience required
• Experience in acute care, stepdown, or progressive care settings
• BSN preferred

Full-time evening leadership role (2:30p–11p, M–F) supporting operations and patient care within a high-acuity Stepdown Unit.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to support daily operations within a Stepdown Unit caring for medically complex patients requiring close monitoring. This role partners closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and staff development while ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care. The ANM serves as a clinical and operational leader during evening shifts, supporting nursing staff, optimizing patient flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, acute care expertise, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
