Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)
Pay Range: $35–$60/hr + Up to $10K Sign-On + Loan Repayment

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related program
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT, ARRT(VI), ARRT(CI), ARDMS, RCIS, RCES, or CCI certifications preferred

 Experience levels vary:

  • New grads considered (Tech I)
  • 3–5 years preferred for intermediate level
  • 5+ years for advanced/interventional roles
  • Strong knowledge of interventional procedures, sterile technique, and imaging equipment
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts with call coverage
  • Excellent patient care, teamwork, and procedural support skills

 Job Overview
The Interventional Radiology Technologist supports physicians and care teams during minimally invasive and image-guided procedures across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role includes patient preparation, sterile field maintenance, imaging equipment operation, and real-time procedural support. Technologists collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient workflows and optimal patient outcomes while contributing to quality initiatives and ongoing clinical excellence.
