Pay Range: $68.27 - $109.89
 Work Location: Providence, California

Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, the Manager Surgical Services is responsible for managing and coordinating quality patient care in a cost-effective manner, adhering to patient care standards and job-specific performance standards. This role involves observing clinical practices, implementing quality assurance measures, and supervising operating room clinical staff. The Manager Surgical Services also manages professional nursing care for patients in Surgical and procedural areas, assessing, planning, evaluating, and documenting the Nursing process as needed. Additionally, this role serves as a resource person with primary responsibility for staff performance and development, while demonstrating behavior consistent with the organization's mission, vision, and workplace guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate quality patient care in Surgical Services.
  • Ensure adherence to patient care and performance standards.
  • Supervise operating room clinical staff.
  • Manage professional nursing care for patients in Surgical and procedural areas.
  • Assess, plan, evaluate, and document the Nursing process as needed.
  • Serve as a resource person for staff performance and development.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the organization's mission, vision, and workplace guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years of progressively responsible nursing management experience (leadership experience such as Charge Nurse or Nursing Supervisor in an acute care hospital).
Preferred Qualification:
  • CNOR and/or CPAN certification upon hire.
