SUMMARY

A hospital in the Tri-Cities area, WA is searching for a Registered Nurse for their Surgical Unit. This is a fast-paced unit where teamwork is vital! This is an excellent opporntity to provide quality care to patients in an environment that fosters transparency, respect and partnership! There is also a multitude of opportunities to cross train within various department and its specialties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured patient
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians
• Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
• Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems

REQUIREMENTS

• Nursing degree/diploma required. Must be willing to obtain a BSN within 3years of hire
• • A RN with 20 years of RN experience will be exempt from the BSN requirement

• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
