Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Pay Range: $37-$68/hr

SUMMARY

A large hospital in Spokane, WA is searching for a permanent Registered Nurse for their NICU. This is a fast-paced unit made up of caring individuals who put the patient’s safety and concerns before themselves. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients
• Administer medication as instructed by physicians
• Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
• Provide a full range of nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year of NICU or related nursing experience
• Nursing degree/diploma required. Must be willing to obtain a BSN within 3years of hire
  • A RN with 20 years of RN experience will be exempt from the BSN requirement

• Current Washington Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within thirty (30) days of hire
