Shift: Day Shift, 7AM - 5PM, call required 

Job Summary:

A medical facility in Beloit, WI is looking for a full-time, permanent Certified Surgical First Assistant Technician. The Surgical Assistant will cover the specialties of General, Ortho, Urology, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Facial Plastics. The Surgical First Assist will work under the direct supervision of the surgeon and will use instrumentation, suturing, and prepare for hemostasis in an anticipatory manner. You will also participate in room set-up by ensuring that all supplies, equipment and instrumentation are available for the procedure.  The First Assist will help clean, turnover, and scrub with not first assisting. 

Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical first assistant program with completion of Certification within 2 years. 
• BLS required within 3 months of hire
• Must be available for on-call
